Working with DHH (Deaf, Hard of Hearing) individuals was a standout highlight from last week at Chipman Junior High.
Honestly, I wasn’t aware of each student’s hearing ability level or how/if the sound bowl would have an effect 🤷🏾♂️
You can tell from their subtle body language that frequencies are undeniable 🌊 As @jheneaiko says about frequencies, “We are never far.”
After performing, some students approached me with illuminated faces, signing how each bowl felt.
Such a mind blowing and unexpected experience. Wow 🤯

Substitute teaching allows me exercise my wellness program if there’s no lesson plan provied. Great opp to sharpen my craft!
A class of ELD students and thought why not? Mental Health tips in Spanglish, replaced tie-dye with coloring sheets and wrapped with a brief sound bowl breath-work sesh.
A shy student mustered up the courage to practice their English and say, “Thank you for everything”. It’s the little things that make life worthwhile 💔🥹
