Performing everywhere from intimate bars, clubs, and underground raves, he has shared the booth with artists such as Matrixxman, Ma Sha, and Nikki Nair. He immigrated at a young age from Minsk, Belarus to Louisville, KY, where his musical upbringing was rooted in classical piano. Chicago’s underground electronic scene and queer community have relentlessly influenced him after 11 years of calling the city his home. His debut EP, I Plead The Filth, hits with four raw, shape-shifting tracks—crispy electro drums collide with murky bass drones and gritty, hypnotic stabs, all drifting through hazy realms of electronica. The sound mutates, weaving between electro and techno, laced with dreamy pads, twitchy acid licks, wailing sirens, and ethereal chords. First underground @darkheavenco event of the year & I’m very thrilled to be collaborating with Sanctum once again! This funeral home is also a yoga studio believe it or not, so you’re also welcome to do some sun salutations, cat & cows, and down dogs or whatever helps you loosen up those limbs so you can dance harder. Guarantee y’all haven’t been to this space yet .. it’s truly special and beautiful. On a super real note though, it’s definitely an honor to be sharing a bill with @justin_aulis_long @blacklightsmoke @shaunlacostasinclair and @girlblunt3d 🔥 Expect darkwave techno electro goth crossovers. 💖 Tomorrow, I am hosting an all-live hardware ~ fantasy ~ called Pulse Dream, featuring a very unique artist @sarahsommers.bimboprincess (her Chicago debut) as well as some of the best in the Midwest @sard @laspacer @aathee_records @heliosheath.music @donkeybasketbal Otherworldly princess of Planet Pink, Sarah Sommers, crash-landed on Earth in a trail of sparkling pixie dust and began performing live at raves and clubs in Melbourne, London and now Berlin where she has been based since 2018. With a collection of beautiful self-customized pink hardware, her passion and vigour, fueled by the vibrant sound of ‘90s rave culture, dub, dnb, Detroit and Berlin techno, Sarah creates a truly inspired and authentic high energy musical and visual experience.⁠ Taking place at one of my favorite venues in the West Loop! Very stoked for @darkheavenco to be collaborating with @heliosheath.music on this one and will give him the credit that it was his idea to bring Sarah Sommers out for this!
