VVREN presents
Scar Illuminated: Finding Beauty in the Broken
A solo exhibition for Sarah Tracton
Melbourne Design Week 2026
@sarahtracton Working with porcelain, light, and fracture, Sarah’s practice explores how breakage can become a point of transformation.
Each piece begins as a thin sheet of poured porcelain — fragile, unpredictable, shifting in the kiln. Cracks are not removed, but kept, repaired through kintsugi, and held in place with gold. What remains are luminous scars — traces of rupture, repair, and time.
Activated after dark, the works reveal themselves through light passing softly through fractured surfaces. A quiet environment where fragility is not hidden, but made visible.
Rather than perfection, the exhibition sits with imperfection — proposing a different way of seeing, making, and holding onto things.

LooMoS x VVREN: 22 Bags
For our upcoming pop-up event, we collaborated with Melbourne-based art space @vvrenspace to design a tote bag.
To reflect the distinct aesthetics of both parties, we selected a striped Japanese antique textile for the body of the bag, developed the overall silhouette and detailing, and commissioned an independent tailor for its production. Due to the rarity of the fabric, only 23 pieces were made in total, including the sample.
A total of 22 pieces will be available for in-person purchase on the day of the event (27th). Each bag features a unique pattern and comes with an individual serial number. Available while stocks last.
