Our VVK team was honored to attend Vista Maria’s 27th annual Fearless Heart Gala last night in downtown Detroit.
The evening was a celebration of healing, resilience, and the impact of Vista Maria’s programs. Hearing directly from past clients and their stories of growth and triumph made the night especially meaningful and unforgettable.
Thank you to the Vista Maria team for hosting such a beautiful event and for the work you do every day to support people in our community. 🤍
Thousands of leaders across autonomy, robotics, manufacturing, defense, and mobility are together at #XPONENTIAL2026 in Detroit this week to see what’s next for the industry.
With more than 550 exhibitors, the event has transformed Huntington Place into a hub for conversations around scaling autonomous systems in the real world.
Our team has been supporting media and content creation throughout the week by:
🎥 Capturing keynote sessions, speaking engagements, and exhibitor activity across the show floor
📰 Coordinating media interviews and helping manage press engagement onsite
🤖 Documenting everything from drone and software companies to military and maritime technologies shaping the future of autonomy
It’s been a busy week of storytelling, collaboration, and seeing firsthand how quickly these technologies are moving from concept to real-world deployment.

The VVK PR + Creative Student Scholarship was officially awarded at this year’s @WSUPRSSA Alumni and Student Recognition Breakfast at @WayneState , continuing a commitment we launched to help support the next generation of communicators and creatives in Detroit.
🏆 Created in partnership with WSU’s Department of Communication, the scholarship supports students pursuing careers in public relations, video production, graphic design, and digital design.
At this year’s event, VVK CEO Peter Van Dyke provided welcome remarks and introduced Dean Kelly Young as part of the morning’s program celebrating students, alumni, and industry partners.
This year’s recipient, Giuliana Vico, shared a note that perfectly captured why programs like this matter:
💬 “I wanted to reach out and express my immense gratitude for awarding me the VVK PR+ Creative Student Scholarship. I am so thankful that you have considered me and my education for this award. Your support for both my academic and professional career means a great deal! With earning this scholarship, I am motivated to further my involvement in the wonderful community of PR, as well as continue to further my education here at Wayne State.”
Congrats to Giuliana and all of the students recognized at this year’s event! And thank you to our team, clients, and partners for helping make opportunities like this possible. 👏
