A hackathon is an inclusive, 3-day event where teams collaborate to develop software solutions based on a given theme.
Hackathons are all about putting you in a fast-paced environment where you’ll rapidly code, prototype, and build innovative projects.📢
If you want coding experience to prepare for entering the workforce, this event is perfect for you!✅
Participants from all academic backgrounds and skill levels are welcome. However, we strongly encourage Computer Science, Software Engineering, and coding students to take this opportunity to contribute and learn.😁

Last night’s panel, hosted by VUWWIT (Victoria University Women in tech) and VESA (Victoria Entrepreneurship and start-up association) , was a big success!
We want to say a huge thank you to the inspiring speakers Kendra Ross, Annie Kim, and Madeleine Patel for taking the time to speak to us at Kelburn and share their journeys. From navigating challenges in tech and entrepreneurship, to building innovative solutions, there was truly something for everyone.
We are grateful to everyone who came along, asked thoughtful questions, and made the night memorable! It was great to see so many people keen to connect and learn.
