the 2026 budget is gutting Fees Free and trying to dress it up as fiscal responsibility. it’s not. it’s pulling the ladder up behind an entire generation of students already drowning in rent, groceries, and a tertiary system stretched to breaking point.
education isn’t a luxury. it isn’t a handout. it’s the bare minimum a country owes its young people if it wants a future worth showing up for.
we’re not taking this one quietly.
