Tre Wyld graduated from a rural Virginia high school years earlier to make it big in NYC. Rumor is, he’s succeeded and is headed back to little old Virginia for one night and one night only. Will his legend meet the hype? We’re looking for a Trevon White, AKA Tre Wyld, to show the boys to the big time. We need Virginia local hires and the link is in the profile for Anne Chapman Casting. Hurry though! We’re moving quickly. #nowcasting #featurefilm

Most low budget indie projects allocate $0 for marketing, which makes finding an audience extremely difficult (outside of friends and fam!).
With distributors not marketing films and more indies turning to self-distribution, filmmakers must be prepared to shoulder more of the marketing costs and tasks themselves.
The recommendation used to be to reserve 20% of your total production budget for marketing. But now it seems we need to have closer to 50% reserved for marketing to really move the needle at all on profits.
I’d love to hear from other producers - how much are you allocating toward marketing in your budget and is it making a difference in terms of ROI?
