The first time I met Juliana and Trevor was at a local coffee shop. We had planned a casual intro chat, but it felt like I was meeting up with two old friends. It was immediately obvious how in love they were — holding hands on the table between them, leaning into each other, already dreaming about their wedding day. Little moments like that stick with me. They make me feel even more connected to a couple — watching something so real and growing right in front of me.
We ended up doing two engagement sessions together: one at the Art Institute of Chicago, the other along the lakefront. Both were beautiful in their own ways — full of soft color, light, and that sense of artistry and ease that felt so true to them.
Juliana has a gift for bringing beauty and intention into everything she touches. On their wedding day, she had transformed their apartment into a space that felt thoughtful and personal — thawing out little corners for the moments she wanted to remember. Where her dress would hang. Where she’d get ready. Where the girls would curl up on the bed and laugh together. Every detail felt like a quiet reflection of who they are.
There were too many smiles to count on their wedding day. Tears were shed, glasses were raised, and the cheering from friends and family never stopped. It was the kind of day you don’t forget
— because at the center of it all was Juliana and Trevor: expressive, present, completely themselves. What a joy to witness and document such a love.
