‘Beyond The Will Of Mortals’ is a concept album with themes of corruption, deliverance, loss, revenge, and redemption all framed within an original high fantasy tale. Musically this record pushes the boundaries of what Volcandra has been known for since the band’s inception. We have continued to blend elements of black metal, melodic death metal, and thrash while taking our sound to further extremes on each side of the sonic spectrum. This is our most dynamic and collaborative effort to date. These songs have been blended into a cohesive body of work that is intended to be experienced in full.
