Yunque Records proudly presents the first official release of the Theme For A Dream LP by British heavy rockers Agnes Strange.
Recorded in 1974 at Meridian Studios — a year before the band laid down their cult classic Strange Flavour — this powerful LP captures Agnes Strange at their rawest and most uncompromising. Engineered by Colin Thurston, the sessions deliver crushing riffs, searing guitars, and the untamed energy that defined the early British heavy underground.
The album features several hard-hitting tracks, including three raw and thunderous early versions of songs that would later appear on Strange Flavour, offering a rare glimpse into the band’s creative evolution. Sourced directly from the original master tapes, this edition boasts outstanding sound quality and includes an insert featuring the full story of the band, the detailed account of these specific recordings, and previously unseen photographs.
A must-have document of pure 70s heavy rock intensity — an essential piece for collectors and devotees of classic British heavy sound.
