However, the repetitive nature of #questions, in particular “Is this a band or a solo project? “ has compelled the Void to answer, if only to ensure just accolades are given to two fine #folks and musicians, @clearlyalec and @noahgordonkessler , the Admiral Maverick and The Mayor Advisor to the Void, respectively.
The answer to this question is that Voidward is both band and solo project, one informing and developing the other over time and distance. Voidward is and will always be. The weight of Heralding the Void requires cross-training in a variety of disciplines. Consider the excellent @toothdurham to which the Mayor Advisor to the Void and his predecessor @spiralwounds belong as well. The Archivist is polyjamorous by nature and a deeper love of the most extreme metal and experimental music is not shared equally among these three cohorts. The Archivist is also unwilling to release material under another title as names are notoriously challenging to find satisfying. The Archivist also enjoys a pathological desire to confuse those who rely on assumptions. This Voidwardian Era will see several solo releases on the extreme end of Metal. As always, purists, aficionados and bigots will be made to feel squeamish. This is a joy in the Archivist’s heart.
There will be more of the traditional Voidward released in 2026 as well. Stay sharp and know that we are your knives.
Observe that some few #folks wonder aloud at the Archivist’s #intentions. One may be forgiven for assuming #motivations include #promotion or #recognition given the #nature of the platform. The words that follow are not for the #squeamish.
The Void does not demand #entertainment and The Archivist does not wallow in rank #exhibitionism. These desires are at odds with a #beginners mind. It is advised to look elsewhere for #content of this variety. #purists, #aficionados and #bigots are unwelcome.
Instead, one will observe the #documentation of #process and the #brutality of being pathologically #curious. Occasionally, that which #amuses or interests the Void will be documented as well.
The Void demands and the Archivist accepts. #explanations will not follow, but #discomfort will. Those with #sensitive constitutions are warned that every mistake and awkward moment is a fulfillment of the Void’s demand.

October 22, 2024 the Year of The Void was announced with help @ryantsweeney on episode 12 @letsmixtape , in which @archivist4v chooses Tycho Magnetic by @titantotachyons to connect thoughts on #home and #music. Since then, all have been aware of Dark Miracle.

The Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima has been used to dramatic effect in cinema. However, it has a delicate subject and subtle intent that can make its use seem crass. The Archivist submits Threnody 4 General Use in the hopes that this lesser work can serve a greater one when used in its place. Pendereki’s work deserves all dignity.
The Archivist has accumulated hours of instruction guided by @gdfx . Those with curious and generous minds are encouraged to turn their attention in that direction. An interpretation of the Excavation process has been translated according to best practice. As the Plow turns the soil, the chisel shapes undetermined.
