2024? Completed it m8 â

Tbh, 20 slides isnât enough to sum up this year. So many memories, from a sold out Whelans with our boys @jetfuelchemistry , the release of Volume Two and a sell out headline show, a trip to the UK with @hammerdownfestival , a cheeky Kendrick cover in between, a hometown show in Drogheda, features on RTE, Hot Press, BBC Radio 1 to name a few, loads of shows in between, and even an acoustic EP to top it off.
.
Safe to say weâve had a busy year. Thank you to everybody whoâs come to a show, listened to our music, copped a tee, or even just told your mate about our tunes. The support this year has been immense and we genuinely appreciate everybody whose been a part of what we do đ
.
Weâve been taking the end of the year to recharge and spend time with loved ones. If you know us, you know weâre already working on whatâs next đ Wishing you a Happy New Year from Idle Discourse âŤď¸đ˘

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who came out onto Power Ballad over the past 7 weeks. We were blown away by the performances from our members! We had 4 weddings, 2 concerts, a week of night shoot parties...so grateful for all the supporting artists giving it their all. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Love from Aoise, Alisha and the Celtic Casting Team x
BTS for @herefilm2024 had the pleasure of being on set with yet another lovely bunch of people. Getting to see such a talented crew work as one is always something that intrigues but also inspires me.
Thank you to both @hanasamii_ and @marklynch___ for having me on this one!!
ITâS A WRAP!
Last week was absolutely amazing!
We want to thank this amazing crew and cast. Every single person was on their A game and we are so pleased with the work we did together â¤ď¸
But none of this would have been possible without our funders, so we want to give a special thanks to everyone who has donated to the film, it has made the production value way better than we had hoped.
We are in post production now for the next 10 weeks. So stay tuned on developments and dates for our screenings, we hope everyone can make it! đ

"Whale fall" Crew Bts from beautiful short, shot on film towards the end of 2022
Whale fall - In the middle of an Irish peat bog, the inexplicable remains of a humpback whale are
discovered by two rural women. Drawn into the mystery of how and why it has appeared,
they soon realise the whale is exerting its own magnetic force; summoning the ghosts of
lifeforms and ecosystems obliterated in the name of 'progress'. As the women explore its
origins, they confront old divisions and differing views on the worlds gone before, and the
worlds yet to come. Part ecological horror, part existentialist drama, Whale Fall is a striking
meditation on the consequences of the so-called Anthropocene - our current era of
human-induced planetary change.
