The burn this year was my most difficult and rewarding yet.
This was my first year with a conclave, (thanks Garnish!) and although we didn't get to burn in the great circle I still got to participate in our practices, audition, and performing in mid playa before the rain. Being a part of conclave has been a dream for years now, and although I can't help but feel it's still only half-fulfilled, I'm pretty happy with how the journey has gone.
Yeah the mud was rough, no I didn't get ebola. There were moments of beautiful otherworldly serenity walking around the not-so-dry lakebed. There was also the aching feet the day after.
I had such a great time burning with so many incredible fire artists I won't even try to list them all. The Dart takeover at Dumpy Fuego was a high point for sure, as was getting to play in dart battles again even if I didn't get very far.
This was my 8th burn more or less in a row (depending on how you count the pandemic years), and I think I'm gonna take next year off playa. I look forward to getting into the great circle eventually, but it won't be for a little while.

I had a great time decompressing with my wonderful Reverbia camp mates at the reverbia campout.
I got to fire dance just a touch and play with sklitter on my 6 petal lotus. I love pretending I've got a comet on the end of the tether haha.
The sauna was a big hit, thanks to @portland_tarzan for his sweet custom tent and partnership operating the thing.
Shout-out to Havenroot for continuing to be a lovely, magical, and otherworldly venue.

This is my first flow video I've produced. It's for a contest around a tastebreaker 3 move sequence intended to change your typical flow. There's lots I wish I'd done better but I'm happy with how much I've learned just participating.
This is also one of my first video recording projects. Next time I'm definitely using a better camera.
