We’re tired of the silence and we’re here because we’re saying enough is enough. Enough that so many girls have to live under this threat. Your silence means you are part of it. We all know now that the world doesn’t care about African life, about Black lives.
But we have the power to change that. We will not be free until everyone is free.

Millions of people of #African descent contributed to both world wars either #voluntarily or in many African countries through forced #conscription , despite WW1 being mostly a war about #imperialism between European powers.
Most were not recognised for their contributions at the time, with some still not being recognised for their contribution in the past or today.
As Black peoples continue to be written out of #history in Western nations, let us never forget .. 🖤🌺
