NOVA MY HANDSOME BOY. I finally made him a real outfit design that isnāt just a white button up. I did put a lot of thought into it. I wanted to give him a more cool colour palette so heād stand out from the other canonical Steel Samurai actors. He has a little Edelweiss themed brooch on his chest and the tails of his suit jacket are supposed to represent swan wings. I do wanna centre his theme around the āswan songā metaphor, as in the final performance before a performer dies or resigns. Miles had a completely normal reaction, trust

I highkey fw the lineless version for this one as well. PLEASE IM GENUINELY SO PROUD OF THIS ONE RAAAH it turned out so well. The shading with the lasso tool is so much fun and Iām starting to not only enjoy art a lot more but Iām also satisfied with the finished products. Being happy is one thing but the satisfaction of looking at the finished piece and knowing that I made this makes it even more worthwhile

Nova is my little test subject for a new shading style Iāve been playing around with. Watching Sam draw with the lasso tool made me try it out as well and itās genuinely so much fun š I still need to get used to it but I do admit the hard shading works a lot better with my art (and itās lowkey much faster). I should have tried this BEFORE the Diluc birthday art now he just looks chopped in comparison

Actually not TOO happy with this one but guh š Nolas and Elionasā¦ Nolas genuinely loves Elionas so much even if they arenāt blood related. Nolas took him in when he was just a baby. As the high priest he knew Elionas would be the next oracle because was born during an important event in Velmora. So he raised him not only as the next oracle but also like his own son.
