Dogs are allowed in certain areas which makes this a great option if you like to explore with your dogs like I do. Places to explore: Panamint Springs & Stovepipe Wells for camping, Twenty Mule Team Canyon (dogs OK), Zabriskie Point (dogs OK), Aguereberry Point (incredible views), Mosaic Canyon, Badwater Basin & Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes (no dogs allowed at last three places) Go before it gets too hot! #vanlife #camping #dogs

CNN projects California voters will approve Prop 50 - Governor Gavin Newsom’s measure to redraw the state’s congressional maps, boosting the national Democratic Party’s efforts to win control of the US House next year. We spoke to a lot of young, first time voters in Orange County, CA who were motivated to get out to the polls and vote yes on Prop 50 because of the state of the country.

Things I learned while visiting Tulare County to cover the bird flu outbreak: 1. pasteurization kills bird flu so you’re safe to drink milk bought in stores 2. which is why you shouldn’t drink raw milk 3. and dairy cows (at least these ones) end up as in-and-out & McDonald’s burgers 😭.
