A HUGE thank you to @mclaurin.eddie , Chris Harder and the rest of the @thewoodsofterror crew for letting us check out their incredible facility. We were blown away by the level of detail and the sheer amount of attractions they had. This haunt is top notch and is definitely worth seeing if you’re ever in NC. They’re open for off season events including Valetines day and you will not be disappointed. We had an amazing time and are already planning our next trip to the Woods of Terror to see it with actors.

There is a new challenge for our guests who come to visit our Christmas display! Below is a sheet with twelve characters from our display. Save this post and when you get to our house, try and find all twelve hidden throughout the yard! When you find them, snap a picture with your favorite one and tag us!
Also, don’t forget that we are doing a children’s book drive and collecting money for the @spiritofchildren . There is a bin set out for books and a cash box along with a code for our Venmo (@vmhaunts ) at the front of our yard. The second week of advent has started today and we’ve got our candles lit! Stop by the display any night from 5-10 and watch as we go around our advent wreath counting down to Christmas!

The Display is up and running and so is our @spiritofchildren Collection! Come by, enjoy the lights and if you’re feeling generous, leave a donation. We are collecting new and gently used children’s books along with monetary donations. There will be a collection bin by the street for books and a sign posted with our Venmo (@vmhaunts ) for any cash donations. All of this benefits the @spiritofchildren Organization and Neumors Children’s Hospital, bringing the holidays to those who spend it in the hospital.

The post haunt depression has hit pretty hard this year but looking back we realize what an incredibly successful season it was!
There were a lot of firsts this year and It was truly a huge leap towards our ultimate goal of owning a professional haunted attraction.
We want to thank everyone for their continued support through this whole process and everyone who contributed towards the Spirit of Children as we were able to raise $5,204 this year!
We are winding down now and packing everything away, but plans for the 2026 haunt season are already in the works. It’s going to be our best year yet!
