Last night was a great night for our VME NYC team.
Huge thanks to Veterans in Media & Entertainment for continuing to bring veterans together around career, business, and life, and to The New School for being such an outstanding host.
Grateful as always to one of our strongest champions for veterans, Jim Arnoff (JimArnoff.com), Certified Career, Business, and Life Coach in the entertainment industry, and consultant, for once again lending his time, talent, and expertise to VME with another terrific workshop.
Special appreciation to Lucie Piper, Career Counselor & Employer Relations Manager at the Center for Military-Affiliated Students, and Betsy Montañez for opening their space, their hospitality, and their genuine support of veterans. Shout-out as well to Lucie’s husband Brendan, a prior-service Marine, who stayed after talking with vets and helping get the space back in order.
Thank you to Chris Barrett, U.S. Marine and VME member, who made the connection with The New School and helped bring this night together through his network.
This is what makes VME special.
With 6,000+ veterans in our community, many already succeeding at the highest levels, mentorship is right there for the taking. Get on VMEConnect.org, schedule a coffee meetup, learn from someone already walking your path, and build those relationships. It matters.
And when you start gaining momentum, pay it forward. That’s how this community stays strong.
