Vixen’s 2026 community survey is open!
If you’re a current or former sex worker in Victoria – we’d love to hear from you!
Help Vixen understand how we’re doing, what our community needs, and where to focus our energy.
Your responses directly inform our work, advocacy, and priorities for the year ahead.
The survey is anonymous and takes around 5–10 minutes.
Complete it to enter a raffle to win one of five $50 vouchers!
Find it in the link in our bio or at bit.ly/vixensurvey2026
A single mother in our community, raising four children under 10 including children with access needs has been experiencing homelessness since October 2025. Despite working, accessing multiple support services, and receiving extensions on payments, they have not been able to raise enough for a bond and the first four weeks’ rent.
The payment is due tomorrow. Without urgent support, the family will remain homeless.

Vixen is aware of the recent incidents at Gotham City and Bodyline. We are relieved to hear that nobody was injured, but understand how distressing this situation can be.
If you are a sex worker that has been affected and would like to have a chat with a Vixen peer worker, please reach out to us. We are open from Wednesday to Friday, between 12pm and 6pm.
On Wed May 6, City of Port Phillip will be voting on adopting harmful new local law change that would marginalise people experiencing homelessness by giving Council additional powers to move on rough sleepers and steal their belongings!
We need your support to pressure the Council to vote no!
We invite you all to join us in a snap community response:
First, SPEAK OUT at a protest on St Kilda Town hall steps. Then, SPEAK UP in the City of Port Phillip Council Meeting (register to speak- link below) during public question time before the final vote.
DETAILS:
Community Speak-Out:
Wednesday 6 May
Meet @ 4:30pm at St Kilda Town Hall steps (by the statue)
Speeches at 5pm
Participate in Council Meeting
Register to speak online by 12pm Wed May 6

Council Meeting starts 6:30pm
Join with local community, orgs and allies to amplify the voices and concerns of those sleeping rough, who will most be affected by the punitive proposed local law change.
This is our last chance to demand Councillors vote NO.
Please share widely, we need as many folks as possible!!
