Who knew my little hobby for taking photos on my phone would lead to my current life. I am grateful for the amazing people who have inspired and supported me from the beginning. You gave me a space to discover and express my inner creativity 🤍
As a director and photographer, I strive to inspire others to also live creatively! “Worlds We Live In”, a photo collection where fashion and photography intertwine to honor the Year of the Wooden Snake. With creative direction by AMI and photography by VIV, this showcase brings together designers from diverse Asian backgrounds, weaving their unique cultural influences into a shared celebration. Through mystery, transformation, and renewal—qualities embodied by the snake—we explore the traditions that connect us. From fashion to food and games like mahjong, these elements reflect the worlds we come from and the one we create together.
Purpose: Designed as both a fashion show and exhibition, The Serpent’s Charm provides an opportunity for local creatives to collaborate, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to a meaningful cultural dialogue. By providing a platform for AAPI creatives, this project fosters professional growth, cultural pride, and greater visibility for aspiring artists in the fashion and art communities. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire future generations of AAPI creatives and amplify their impact on the broader cultural landscape.
