Formerly the Clovelly Mixed Business — the old general store — this block came with history, potential, and plenty of challenges. Wedged between three unit blocks — both sides and at the rear — with a brand new development going up right next door, we had to work smart to navigate limited access, shared boundaries, and constant coordination with neighbours and other trades on-site on the neighboring property.
We delivered a multilevel home that makes full use of the narrow block — including a suspended concrete pool and garden on the first floor. Constructing that kind of structure in such a tight space, with minimal landing area and limited crane access, took careful sequencing and experience.
This build is a testament to planning, precision, and patience — and proof that tricky sites can still deliver outstanding results.
