A huge milestone was accomplished over the weekend at our King-Pine project! With 167 concrete trucks, 40+ workers, our talented site management team and our partners, we poured 1,490.25 cubic meters of concrete in just under 10 hours! A huge thank you to our partners, @cvd.engineering@forefrontelectric@siderplumbing@cbm_aggregates and NH Forming for making this happen. 🦺 🙌🏻

Winter may be slowing the pace, but it hasn't stopped progress at our KoC Eureka Site. ❄️🏗️
At the tower, windows are now installed up to Level 26, with balcony railing installation underway and significant interior work progressing across multiple floors.
Snowy conditions over the past few months have added challenges, but the momentum on site continues as planned.
Proud of the team for pushing forward, no matter what the weather brings 🥶

The past two weeks have been a powerful reminder of the leadership and impact driving Vive forward.
Stephen Litt represented our team at the 2025 Ontario Economic Summit, participating in a cabinet roundtable with The Honourable Rob Flack, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. The discussion centered on housing supply, innovative housing models, and land-use planning.
Heather Campbell took the national stage, presenting to the National Finance Senate Committee on Parliament Hill as a follow-up to her appearance as a featured panelist in the KW Founders & Builders series. Both conversations dove into Canada’s ambitious population and housing goals—and the realities developers are navigating today.
Stephen and Heather were both able to share sector specific insights – important opportunities to help shape the future of housing in Ontario.

Yesterday, we were honoured to welcome The Honourable Bardish Chagger, MP for Waterloo, to celebrate a major milestone for housing in Canada — and right here in our community.
Vive Development is proud to be part of the solution to Canada’s housing challenges, with support from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) through the Apartment Construction Loan Program (ACLP). With an investment of over $160 million, this initiative is enabling the creation of 398 new rental homes at our master-planned community in Kitchener.
🏗️ The announcement marked the official groundbreaking of Phase Two, and the ribbon-cutting of Phase One, where we’ve already welcomed our first residents. This development is more than just housing — it's a thoughtfully designed, sustainable community, with pedestrian-friendly walkways, shared green space, and underground parking linking all three towers.
At Vive, we believe in building with purpose. That means creating homes that are attainable, accessible, and designed for the future. We are grateful for the federal government's partnership and shared commitment to tackling the housing crisis head-on — together, we’re building a stronger, more resilient Canada.
