Chasing Morning Light 🌿☀️📸 Capturing the early spring light with my lightweight AF 35mm F1.8 P FE, one of those simple setups that lets you focus purely on the moment. There’s something special about mornings in spring. The light feels softer, cleaner, almost untouched. Streets are quieter, movements slower, and every frame feels a little more intentional. It’s in these early hours that the city reveals its calm side, before the day fully begins. As photographer Josef Sudek once said, “Light is mysterious because it has no weight, no temperature, no sound.” And yet, it shapes everything we see. 📸✨ #MorningLight #SpringLight #StreetPhotography #35mm #ChasingLight

Golden Hour Whispers ✨📸 Golden hour speaks softly, in warm tones, in stretched shadows, in light that turns passing moments into quiet stories. The streets slow down just enough, and suddenly even the ordinary begins to feel cinematic. It’s in these calm, in-between moments that photography feels the most honest, when nothing is forced, and everything simply is. As photographer Alex Webb once said, “Light is everything… it is the substance of photography.” And sometimes, it whispers instead of shouting. 🌅📸 #GoldenHour #StreetPhotography #ChasingLight #CinematicMoments

As a street photographer, being able to have a lightweight lens with an internal zoom range from 24mm to 50mm and a constant f/2.8 aperture honestly feels like a dream come true. 📸 Built for the streets with its compact design and lightweight body of just 432g, the Thypoch Voyager AF 24-50mm f/2.8 feels effortless to carry around all day while still offering the flexibility that zoom lenses are loved for. With the Voyager AF 24-50mm f/2.8, Thypoch has made a strong entrance into the zoom lens category, creating something that offers the convenience of a zoom, yet still carries the soul and shooting experience of a prime lens. The kind of lens that makes street photography feel natural, fast, and intuitive. As photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson once said,“To photograph is to put on the same line of sight the head, the eye and the heart.” #thypoch #voyager #stockholmphotographer #streetphotography #lensculture_streets

After using prime lenses for as long as I can remember, I’m finally testing out a zoom lens, and honestly, it’s both challenging and fun at the same time. 📸 With primes, you get used to seeing the world through one fixed perspective. But with a constant f/2.8 zoom, every frame becomes a choice, how much to zoom, how to balance the composition, what to bring closer, and what to leave in the scene. It changes the whole way you approach photography and keeps you constantly thinking while shooting. The lens isn’t publicly announced yet, so I can’t reveal it just yet, but here are a few pictures taken wide open at f/2.8. Safe to say, trying something outside my usual workflow has been refreshing. As photographer Elliott Erwitt once said,“To me, photography is an art of observation.”And sometimes changing perspective changes what you notice. ✨ #zoomlens #f28 #stockholmphotographer #sdmfeatures #sunsetloversgram

Even though the light was challenging, with the harsh midday sun falling directly from above, Evelin and her beautiful horse Coffee truly made the best out of it. 🐎📸 Their connection and chemistry made everything feel natural in front of the camera, allowing me to capture moments that felt honest, calm, and full of emotion despite the difficult light. Sometimes it’s not perfect conditions that create beautiful photographs, it’s the people, the energy, and the trust within the frame. Hope you enjoy these moments as much as I enjoyed capturing them. ✨ As photographer Annie Leibovitz once said,“When I say I want to photograph someone, what it really means is that I’d like to know them.” #horsephotography #visualoflife #stockholmphotographer

For a long time, I’ve mostly been sharing street photography, everyday life, fleeting moments, and stories from the streets. But photography is also about exploring, trying new things, and stepping outside your usual frame. So for the first time in a while, I’m sharing a portrait set I created with Melina beneath the soft cherry blossoms of Kungsträdgården. 🌸📸 The light, the calm atmosphere, and the falling blossoms turned the whole shoot into something gentle and cinematic. It felt refreshing to slow down and create portraits that focused less on movement and more on presence and emotion. Hope you enjoy these portraits as much as we enjoyed creating them together. ✨ As photographer Richard Avedon once said, “A portrait is not a likeness. The moment an emotion or fact is transformed into a photograph it is no longer a fact but an opinion.” #portraitphotography #portraitvisuals #springvibes🌸 #stockholmphotographer #milliondollarvisuals

A simple collection of people, places, and little everyday things captured over the past few sunny days around the city. ☀️📸 Nothing extraordinary, just moments, corners, light, and life unfolding quietly as it always does. Sometimes the beauty of street photography is simply noticing what most people walk past. Hope you enjoy this small set as much as I enjoyed capturing these moments. ✨ As photographer Saul Leiter once said, “There is a great deal one can see by just looking.” #Stockholm #StreetPhotography #ChasingLight #everydayscenes #CityMoments

Since it’s rainy and cold today, here are a few sunny moments from the city captured over the past few days, just a little bit of light to brighten up your screen. ☀️📸 Warm sunlight, long walks, and those simple everyday moments that feel a little softer when the city is glowing. Sometimes looking back at sunny frames is enough to make grey days feel lighter. Hope you enjoy these moments as much as I enjoyed capturing them. ✨ As a Persian proverb says,“Even after the darkest clouds, the sun still remembers the earth.” #Stockholm #StreetPhotography #ChasingLight #everydayscenes #CityMoments

Photographs are poetry without words, and in this set I wanted to present a quieter kind of story, moments between Evelin and her beautiful horse Coffee, where movement, trust, and presence turned simple frames into something almost poetic. 🐎📸 Some moments don’t need explanation. The connection, the light, the calmness in between, they speak for themselves in a way only photography can. Moments like these remind me that a picture doesn’t always have to be loud to be beautiful. As photographer Elliott Erwitt once said, “Photography is the art of observation.” And sometimes the most poetic moments are simply the honest ones. #horsesofinstagram #coffee #horesephotography #visualsoflife #cinematicfeel

This is not the usual street photography set, but rather a small photoshoot I recently did with Evelin ( @evelin_iden_ )and her beautiful horse Daniel. 🐎📸 Stepping away from the streets for a moment and capturing this connection between human and horse felt calm, honest, and refreshing in a completely different way. The way Daniel moved, the quiet understanding between them, and the peaceful atmosphere around it all made these moments feel special to document. Hope you enjoy this set as much as I enjoyed capturing these moments between them. ✨ As photographer Tim Flach once said, “Animals are not props, they are individuals.” And sometimes, the strongest portraits are the ones built on trust and connection. #stockholmphotographer #horsephotograpy #cinematicfeel #horsephotoshoot #visualoflife

Chasing Light a Little Longer ☀️📸 Days are much longer now, which also means golden hour arrives much later. To catch that soft evening light, I sometimes have to head back home and then return to the city again later, all just to squeeze in a few moments during the right light. Until then, most of these walks happen under the harsher midday sun, trying to make the best out of whatever light the city offers that day. Different light, different mood, but still moments worth capturing. Hopefully you enjoy these little frames from my recent walks through Stockholm, and with some luck and sunny weather, I’ll hopefully bring you some proper golden hour shots very soon. 🌇✨ As photographer Trent Parke once said, “The only thing I’m interested in is capturing life as it happens.” No matter the light, the moment is always there. 📸 #Stockholm #StreetPhotography #ChasingLight #everydayscenes #CityMoments
