Join us this Saturday for the Opening Reception of a powerful group exhibition centered on legacy, identity, and the beauty of presence. Curated and creatively directed by senior student Ashlee Brown, the exhibition features works by Ashlee Brown, Tristan Ellis, Noni Garrett, Nylen Brewington Al-Ahmar, and Darius Kaleb Harris, with a special live violin performance by Ms. Clarke Randolph.
We invite all to gather in celebration of art, culture, and community.

Darius Kaleb Harris is a featured artist in On Their Shoulders We Stand: The Art of Simply Being.
A multifaceted artist, Darius draws from realism, history, and personal experience to create work rooted in leadership, purpose, and visual storytelling. His practice bridges creativity with cultural reflection.
He also serves as a talented media lead for the exhibition, overseeing all photography and videography coverage! 📸

A group exhibition curated and creatively directed by Ashlee Brown, bringing together artists from Howard University whose work reflects on presence, memory, and the people and histories that shape who we become. Through painting, photography, and mixed media, the artists explore identity, inheritance, and the quiet power of simply existing.
