Not the ending, but the becoming 🤍 Rizal, being able to represent you and echo the warmth of our beautiful province and people to the Universe has been the true crown of this journey. Getting to stand proudly in the person I’ve become and next to 49 of the most inspiring women of the Philippines meant everything to me. Southern California, you’ve given me a community that is unapologetically Filipino— thank you for sending me your love from across the world. We’ve shown that no matter where we grew up, we will always be globally connected by our pinoy pride. This may not have been the ending we hoped for, but the beginning of something even greater. Because this journey was always about so much more beyond a crown. The real victory was getting to bring Rizal to the forefront of Philippine pageantry and show young girls everywhere that you deserve to be seen, heard, and valued in every room you enter. We’ve proven that regardless of where we grew up, our Filipino bond will never be broken. Leaving this chapter transformed by the person it turned me into, along with a heart more fulfilled than I could have imagined.
