The results are in!! What an incredible night it was for the screening and awards of the 48 Hour Film Project @48scotland
Of the 77 teams that entered, we ended up coming 2nd place🥈
Amy Kennedy @aeekennedy and Katharine O’Donnelly’s @katharine.odonnelly incredible performances took home the joint award for Best Actress! We also won the award for best use of the line: “What did you say?”
We received several other nominations including Best Directing @johnstone_ms , Best Cinematography @visualcreativity and Best Writing @katharine.odonnelly
For all those asking to see the film - the plan is to do a festival run before public release in some months time. We will be sure to keep you updated!

The time has come to share my recent video project about pickleball and pickles.
When @thisisgelb approached me looking for someone to do a video for a Kickstarter campaign for his upcoming board game, he got my attention.
His openness to different ideas and willingness to go the extra mile to make it work got me on board. Many people will settle for any video, but he didn’t.
With his wife, the three of us started working on different script ideas. It wasn’t until a few brainstorming sessions that “the Jumanji” concept of mixing real-life pickleball games with their board game was born.
We started looking at weekends when we could schedule filming; the only one we could do was a week away.
Without a finished script, locations, or actors in a classy startup way, we decided... let’s do it.
After an intensive week of prep and with the right people on board (secured last minute), we captured the footage over two days.
The beauty of a deadline is that you have to make it work.
Today, seeing the results of everyone’s effort, I’m excited to share it with the world.
