Building community IS resistance. We live in a society that glorifies independence and individualism, ideas deeply tied to capitalism, but that’s a longer conversation for another time. People in power don’t want us to organize. They don’t want us to learn, connect, and build together. That scares them.
Since 2021, we’ve been working to build something real. And we hope we’ve done that. Everyone we collaborate with, everyone who shows up, everyone who supports in any way, you are our community. You are THE Happy Outlaws.
There’s still so much more we dream of becoming, so many directions we want to grow. But at the core of it all is this: caring for each other is one of the most powerful things we can do. Showing up for your people, your neighbors, even strangers is radical and beautiful. Thanks for being a part of this small, but mighty, mutual aid initiative.
