Revisiting my hard drive of footages that I shot at @winnipegfolkfestival from the previous years and this one with @romanpclarke stood out. It’s the first time I heard him and I was blown by his whole set at Big Blue in folk fest. It’s like every song is so creatively arranged! There’s identity in his music but every song is different. Hard to explain but if you’re an artist you know what i mean. I was a drummer too when im still in the Philippines and I find it hard to sing while playing drums like your limbs are doing different things and it’s exhausting already haha! But anyways, this is my favourite discovery at the festival and until now he’s in my top feel good playlist whenever I’m driving or just working on something.
I’m grateful for the people I get to hang around during late nights at @seafoodcitycanada and special thanks to @kultivationfestival and @204_live for having me. I enjoy the isaw and chicken skins! Last Late Night Madness for this year.
From above, the world feels huge, but the real blessings are always the ones right beside you. Every home looks the same from this height, yet it’s the people who stay that give each place its meaning. Not everyone is meant to stay, some drift, some return and some become strangers.
Home isn’t a place, it’s the people who stay when life keeps moving.
Kicking off the winter season with late night side by side just outside the city. The cold air, dark trails, and early snow made this one unforgettable. Ride along as we explore the backroads, test the machine, and take in the quiet beauty of the prairies under the night sky.
