Curator Bank offers opportunities for one-to-one meetings to talk through work and ideas with curators based in organisations. It aims to support individual artist development while also strengthening networks between artists and curators across the South West region.
Participating curators represent a range of experience such as working with exhibitions, engagement, education, public art and museums.

This is the final week to see ‘Unknown Futures : Hope, Longing, Grief & Other Distortions’ by contemporary British artist Andrew Litten, presented by Anima Mundi.
Here, Litten presents a reflective body of work over three floors of the gallery, comprising multi-scale painting, sculpture and works on paper. The work reaches into our contemporary world of global turbulence and uncertainty, tracing the contours of a shared human moment and suggesting through vulnerability a pathway of empathy and connection for us all.

We’re proud to support Art in Motion (AIM) 💛
AIM is a Bristol-based organisation working alongside learning-disabled and neurodivergent artists to create bold, ambitious work - while building confidence, connection, and creative independence. They’re currently fundraising at a critical moment - and we’re helping spread the word.
For small, community-led arts organisations, funding is becoming harder to secure. At the same time, the need for inclusive, accessible creative spaces like AIM has never been greater.
Through their studio, residencies, and programmes, AIM supports artists to collaborate, build confidence, and connect with wider audiences within a professional arts environment.
This funding will help bridge an urgent gap, keep the studio open, and ensure artists and projects already in development can continue to grow.

We are delighted that our guest curator for Curator Bank 2026 is Claire Feeley, Artistic Director Focal Point Gallery and Head of Contemporary Visual Arts for Southend-on-Sea.
Claire recently joined Focal Point Gallery and Southend City Council from her post as Creative Programme and Partnership Manager at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. Prior to this has worked as Head of Exhibitions and Learning Programme at Edinburgh’s Jupiter Artland. Claire has held senior curatorial roles at institutions including the British Council, the Barbican and the Serpentine, in addition to freelance work as a curator, writer and producer.
Curator Bank offers one-to-one meetings with the people who build exhibition programmes, commission new work, acquire for collections and champion emerging voices. Curators represent major visual arts organisations in the South West - from experimental spaces to national collections. Their experience spans contemporary exhibition development, public art commissioning, museum acquisition, experimental digital platforms and community and socially engaged practice.

Field Art Projects, on behalf of Curo Group, are inviting artists to apply for a new public art commission for housing development in Lawrence Weston.
The selected artist will work with residents and local partners to develop a site-responsive public artwork through a process of research, engagement and design. It will explore themes including pride in place, community-led change, shared spaces and more.

Final call Opportunity!💫 Dorset Visual Arts is seeking an Emerging Artist Mentor to help support a group of emerging artists to partake in a professional development programme resulting in an exhibition.
Fee: £2,550 (£300 per day)
Time Commitment: 8.5 days (April - October)

The mentor will offer guidance, support and practical advice. They will be expected to deliver one-to-one mentoring sessions and host group tutorials.
