What do you think of when someone says they were “used”? When you hear someone refer themselves as a “servant” ? Where does this evoke reaction - and how? Now what about… being an INSTRUMENT? Different feeling? But same intention. This practice of Bhakti yoga is a practice (<—!) of surrender. Of purifying, grounding, clearing enough to become true vessels of instrumentation in the service of divinity — in the service of God. Five years ago, I would have told you being in servitude was a limiting, compacting label. But now? When my prayer is, please Go(d)vinda engage me in Your service? There’s no way I’d rather be. It’s truly humbling to try and think of yourself lower than a blade of grass, truly freeing to try and be more tolerant than a tree, to try to offer all respects to others and expect nothing in return ❤️‍🩹 I am so grateful for a practice to guide me in my own expansion & platform — going deeper n feeling lighter everyday !!!

my teachers have an analogy (metaphor?) that the grateful child realizes the food in the fridge is placed there by their parents — the opposite says that they got their food themselves. That the act of walking to the fridge & removing food is the entitlement of achievement itself. Art of Offering: Puspanjali II was an offering of love only possible by the beautiful crew that helped to curate the space, guided the @humanspiritproject activations, shaped the sound, and more. I am SO GRATEFUL to have a team that is not only expert at their artistic expressions - but are also able to lead with compassionate hearts.
