If you’ve got an afternoon to spare, West Wicklow knows how to use it well. We love a little forest hike and a sauna to unwind. Some tasty bites from the cafes nearby, and maybe a water sport? Wicklow has plenty of options (or variety). Never a boring day in Wicklow, surely. What's your local favourite? Tell us, for a Part 2! #WestWicklow #Forestwalks #WicklowSauna

⛰️ Sally Gap & Eagles Crag – surowy, epicki krajobraz. To tu kręcono „Wikingów”. 🎬 P.S. I Love You Bridge – fanki i fani kultowego romansu, to tutaj! Obok czeka najwyższy wodospad w Irlandii (121 m)! 💦 🚠 Beyond the Trees Avondale – spacer w koronach drzew i spiralna wieża z widokiem, który odbiera mowę. Zaobserwuj @aga.explores po więcej inspiracji 🌍 __ The „Garden of Ireland”? That’s Wicklow 🇮🇪—a stunning National Park just an hour from Dublin that looks like a literal movie set. Add these spots to your Emerald Isle bucket list: 📜 Glendalough – Ancient ruins in a mystical valley. ⛰️ Sally Gap – Epic landscapes (as seen in Vikings). 🎬 P.S. I Love You Bridge – For the ultimate movie moment. 🍺 Lough Tay – The „Guinness Lake” that looks just like a pint. 🌲 Ballinastoe Woods – A forest straight out of a fairy tale. 🌷 Powerscourt – World-class gardens & Ireland’s highest waterfall. 🚠 Avondale – An epic treetop walk and viewing tower. Which one is first on your list? 📌 Save for your trip! ✈️ Share with your favorite travel buddy. Follow @aga.explores for more 🌍 #wicklow #wicklowmountains #visitireland #irlandia #ppdróżowanie

Just south of Dublin, County Wicklow unfolds through forest walks, cold water swims, long coastal drives, and slow afternoons shaped by nature. Through Tricia’s eyes, the region becomes less about sightseeing and more about recalibrating — a place where wellness is woven into daily life rather than treated as a destination in itself. From morning swims to quiet cafes, Tricia’s guide moves through Wicklow at a gentler pace — one grounded in ritual, fresh air, and returning to the body. There are three lighthouses on Wicklow Head. - The octagonal tower was built in 1781. Today, it is a selt-catering holiday home. - The plain tower with no lantern was built in 1818 and was decommissioned as lightning struck in 1836. - The lower tower was built in 1818 and is the present-day working lighthouse. - Wicklow Head lighthouses are peace seeker’s haven with inspiring and refreshing views of the Irish Sea. - The name Wicklow comes from the Viking word ‘Wykylo’ or ‘Viking’s Loch’! #wicklowheadlighthouse #wicklow#visitwicklow @ireland.explores @dublin.explore @in.ireland @irishexplorer.ie @dublincityphotography @visitdublin @lovindublin @theirishinsider.ie @visitwicklow

If you haven't hiked Glendalough, get to it! 💪🏻 As with any hike, it's important to wear the right gear. People often ask me where they should buy good outdoor gear from and I can highly recommend @outwestclothing.ie . They're based in Dingle, Co. Kerry and will soon be opening a second store in Greystones in Co. Wicklow! Their stuff is really high quality and it's made with sustainability in mind. I tried out my new Séasúr coat (3rd pic) on this hike and it was perfect. I'm determined not to fill my page with ads, so if I'm recommending a brand, it's because I really do like their stuff and want to share it 🤟🏼 Check out the range on their website! #ad #Glendalough #Wicklow #Ireland #Hiking

A handy one when the group chat can’t decide. Bit of a cycle, some Spring blossoms, few pints for the after. (Some non-alcoholic option too!) Want a Part 3? Save this for the next “what are we doing?” text. #VisitWicklow #DaysInWicklow #HiddenWicklow
