📍 @visittulsa
Tulsa is celebrating 100 years of Route 66 with a party that will go down in history.
On May 30, 2026, Tulsa’s Route 66 Capital Cruise will aim to be the world’s largest classic car parade ever, with a goal of 3,000 classic cars cruising down 5.5 miles of the historic highway. Add to the mix vendors, live music, and family fun throughout the entire weekend, and this birthday bash will be one you won’t want to miss.
Do you have a classic car or know someone who does? Spread the word and help us make history! Registration and more info at CAPITALOFROUTE66.COM

There’s beauty in every detail inside these historic downtown Tulsa lobbies, from the way the tile is laid to the custom light fixtures.
Because many of these buildings were constructed in the 1920s at the height of Tulsa’s wealth, not a single expense was spared.

Oklahoma’s first musical road just dropped on Route 66 and of course we drove it. 🎶
Did you hear it? Drop your guess in the comments 👇 (no spoilers!)
The road works by carving precisely spaced grooves into the pavement. Hit the rumble strips at exactly 35mph and your tires literally play a song. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced on a road trip 🤯
📍 Southwest Boulevard Bridge, Tulsa OK — middle lane, heading east, exactly 35mph. You’ll know when you’ve got it.
Pro tip: walk over to Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza and stand on the bridge because you can hear it play from there too.
