In Exchamsiks River Provincial Park, boating follows the river as it winds through quiet channels and dense coastal forest. A few of my favorite moments from Slush Cup 2026 at Shames Mountain. This year had some classics.
We had tubes sending it down the hill—including one that actually made it all the way across. A dinosaur charging the pond, a clean backflip attempt, a three-man send, and even a GT racer ripping straight into the cold water.
That’s what makes Slush Cup so good—wild ideas, huge sends, big laughs, and the whole mountain cheering people on.
Big thanks to Shames Mountain, the volunteers, and the sponsors for putting on such an awesome event every year.

Tastes of Terrace is coming this April. From April 1–30, 2026, this month-long dining event will feature special menus at participating restaurants and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the local food scene.
