Head over to Dope Dough at Backwater Books, where you'll find unique pies such as their Korean Picnic, a cheese pizza topped with bulgogi, kimchi, Korean wrap sauce, sesame seeds, chili flakes, and green onion. For Day 7️⃣4️⃣ of #100AsianRestaurantsInMaryland, we’re at @umisushimd aka my favorite sushi spot in Ellicott City. The ambiance is so nice, service is always great, and they have a lovely patio 🙂 As for food, you can’t go wrong with any of their sushi. Here’s everything we got during @nomtasticfoods ’ visit: ▪️Little Red Riding Hood roll ($16.50): a yum roll ft shrimp tempura, grilled eel, topped w. spicy tuna, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and special crunch✨ ▪️Ruby Toro roll ($18.50): one of my fave rolls evaaaaa, made with fatty tuna belly, jalapeño, cucumber, then topped with more fatty tuna belly, avocado, and a tasty citrus yuzu sauce 🍣 ▪️UMI Omakase Nigiri-Sushi ($46.95): 10 pieces chef’s choice nigiri-sushi made from the highest-quality fish air-shipped from the coasts of California, Tsukiji Market-Japan, Norway, and Spain 🙂 the fish was super fresh (like always), and the presentation was SO good, almost too pretty to eat 🤣 Have you guys been to this spot yet?!
