Cyprus is bursting with culture and a rich history spanning over 11,000 years, positioning it as a pivotal cultural crossroads in the eastern Mediterranean. Its legacy includes Neolithic settlements, ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Crusader, and Ottoman influences.

1. Explore Nicosia’s alternative side and gain a creative insight into Cypriot culture with an urban tour of street art in the Old Town.
2. The House of Hatzigeorgakis Kornesios / Ethnological Museum - This manor house is one of the most important surviving 18th century buildings in Lefkosia and was restored by the Department of Antiquities to house the Cyprus Ethnological Museum, receiving the ‘Europa Nostra’ award in 1988.
3. Panagia Asinou Church is a small church dedicated to the Virgin of ‘Phorbia’. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains some of the finest Byzantine wall art.
4. Located within the walled city of Lefkosia on Onasagorou Street, Faneromeni Church is one of the largest churches of the capital, and was built in 1872.
5/6/8. The Old City of Nicosia is a vibrant, historic hub surrounded by 16th-century Venetian walls that define its iconic star-shaped perimeter.
7. The Edro III is a Cypriot freighter that ran aground on the rocks near Paphos, Cyprus, in December 2011.
9. It is the oldest operating printers in Cyprus, owned by Nicosia Printing Works, Chr.Nicolaou & Sons Ltd.
