We just spent six days at one of the biggest airshows ✈️ in the country…and somehow it keeps getting better every year 💫. [ad] This was our third year at the Sun ’n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida. We camped onsite 🚌 and spent the week exploring the event. There were STEM activities and simulators for the kids plus opportunities to meet pilots and get autographs 🧑‍✈️. The highlight for Amaia and Beckett was getting to fly with the Full Throttle Formation Team @full_throttle_formation_team ✈️! We always look forward to the opening night concert, which featured Cooper Alan,Thomas Mac, and Angie K, and the night airshows are hard to beat with fireworks, explosions, and drone displays lighting up the sky 💥. #ad | Skip the cramped hotel rooms.🙅‍♀️ We found the perfect resort setup for a relaxed Central Florida getaway. 🌴✨ Most people think a Florida trip means being crammed into a tiny, expensive theme park hotel room, but we found a much better way at @campmargaritavilleauburndale .🏠 We spent 4 days here in Polk County, and it was such a great find! We stayed in a Cabana Cabin with a private king bedroom, bunk beds (my kids’ favorite!), and a full kitchen—it really felt like a home away from home. 🍳🛌 It’s the kind of place where you can stay and play all day. Here’s what we loved: 💦 A zero-entry pool with a 147-ft water slide and a separate splash pad. ⚾️ A green play space for baseball or tag, plus a playground, and mini-golf. 🍹 The Tiki Bar has great tropical drinks (with virgin versions for the kids!), and there’s an on-site pizzeria and ice cream shop.🍦🍕 🔥 Nightly activities like campfires built by the staff and bingo. 📍It’s centrally located in @visitcentralfl , so it’s an easy drive to the theme parks and local gems. 📌 We spent 4 fun days here. Don’t forget the water park! 🐽 Pop over to @peppapigthemeparkflorida with your littles 🍔 Relax with dinner at @lucillescafewh —the hospitality, atmosphere, and food are 10/10! We will come back here after every future Legoland visit! Day 4 🥐 Breakfast at @honeycombbread . Make sure you grab multiple cinnamon rolls because no one will want to share! 🌻 Visit @goldenridgegroves to pick sunflowers or seasonal fruit, and try their homemade orange ice cream 🍦🍊. The owner, Katie, is so knowledgable and hospitable! 🏰 Spend the afternoon at the stunning @boktowergardens to see the Singing Tower and 50 acres of gardens. Don’t miss the 3-acre Hammock Hollow Children’s Garden “nature play” space. ⛳️ Get in a round of mini golf and play on the playground back at Camp Margaritaville. 💡 PRO-TIP: Before you start your activities, swing by @welcomecentralfl in Davenport.
