Cedar Breaks in winter is a masterpiece with a dusting of snow on vermillion cliffs. It gives a feeling of fire and ice that we can't get enough of ๐Ÿ”ฅโ„ Take it from us, it's worth the snowmobile tour or snowshoe hike to get to these overlooks! ๐Ÿ˜ @cedarbreaksnps #visitcedarcity ๐Ÿ“ท @dallasmithdigital

โ˜‘๏ธ Grab a treat โ˜‘๏ธ Walk downtown โ˜‘๏ธ Catch a sunset from the Beverley Center We love the early summer sunsets here in #CedarCity! An evening downtown with a dessert from a local spot, a short walk, and a cool spot to watch the sunset sounds perfect. ๐Ÿ™Œ @piecrumbscedarcity (pie) @bullochs_ (ice cream) @ganached.brownies (๐Ÿ“ท) @parkplaceeatery (dessert crepes) PC: @dallasmithdigital

It's not just you; the air really is thinner up here โ›ฐ๏ธ And elevation sickness is a real thing at destinations like Brian Head and Cedar Breaks! Our friends at Intermountain Cedar City Hospital know how to help and want you to recover and get back to enjoying your vacation as quickly and safely as possible. Here are a few things to know: โณ Take it slow. If you have time in your itinerary to ease into the higher elevations with stops along the way, take the scenic route. ๐Ÿš— If you start feeling sick, take a little drive down the mountain. ๐Ÿ’ง Stay hydrated! Dehydration won't help your symptoms, so keep your water nearby. Being #RedRockReady means being prepared at any elevation. Adventure safe! #ResponsibleRecreation #southernutah #ElevationSickness

Kolob Canyons is nice. Kolob Canyons in spring? Perfect ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿงก These images from @visitusaparks show one of our favorite trails in the park (Timber Creek Overlook), and we love these red rock views! As a wilderness area, Kolob Canyons has group size restrictions (under 12), making a visit to the park perfect for a quieter, slower experience. ๐Ÿ“ท Colleen Goldhorn (@colleengoldhorn_creativeco )

The high desert is calling, and whether you're on an ATV, bike, or scooter, the right gear can make all the difference. โ›‘๐Ÿšตโ€โ™€๏ธ Our friends @Intermountain Cedar City Hospital know firsthand the dangers of hitting the trails unprepared. Here's what their team wants you to know before you ride: ๐Ÿงฅ Wear a proper riding jacket โ€” the armor in the back and shoulders protects you from impact AND abrasion if things go sideways ๐Ÿงค Don't skip the gloves โ€” your hands are the first thing that hits the ground in a crash โ›‘๏ธ Helmet on, snug fit, strap tight โ€” every single ride, no exceptions Being #RedRockReady means being safe for the ride. See you on the trails! #visitcedarcity #OHVsafety #ResponsibleRecreation #southernutah
