To jakby dać posmakować pyszne ciasteczko i zaraz je zabrać zanim weźmiesz drugiego gryza. Powoli to przestaje być śmieszne! 😂🙈

What an incredible day of hiking. 🏔✨️
Canmore is one of my all-time favourite places to spend time. I love going pre-season. Although some trails may not be open yet, this time of year has so much to offer.
Less people, cheaper accommodations & enough open trails to fill your days.
Don't forget to purchase your day-use pass online or at the day lodge heading up to Grassi Lakes Trailhead.

Ps: The peak at the end is Ha Ling! 🏔

The sunrise snow hike was supposed to be beautiful… until panic stole my breath. Then in that moment, a stranger stepped in with calm kindness— staying, helping me through and making me feel safe again. I’m truly thankful and forever grateful, for the warmth I didn’t know I needed 🌄❄️ Thank you Matt!

We did Grassi Lakes and it turned out to be one of those hikes that’s perfect for almost anyone.
There are two ways up: • the easy trail — longer, gradual, and much more relaxed • the hard trail — shorter but steeper, rocky, and a bit of a climb
We took the easy trail going up to enjoy the views without rushing, and came back down using the hard trail — which honestly felt like the perfect combo.
Distance & time:
Around 3.5–4 km round trip, took us about 1.5–2 hours with breaks.
What stood out the most:
The lake. That bright green/blue water is unreal in person — way better than photos.
Things I’d tell anyone going (from experience)
• Take the easy trail up → much more enjoyable and less tiring
• If you’re comfortable, come down via the hard trail for a bit of variety
• Go early or later in the day → it gets busy
• Wear proper shoes → the hard trail especially has loose rocks
• Don’t rush back → most people leave quickly, but sitting by the lake is the best part
• Respect the area → stay on marked trails and don’t get too close to the water edges
It’s not a long hike, but it’s one you’ll remember.

What does dog sledding feel like?
It’s the sound of eager dogs before the trail. The rush of movement as the team takes off. The kind of landscape that makes everything else feel far away.
And somewhere between the mountains, the snow, and the dogs, it becomes something you don’t forget.
