The past two weeks have been truly overwhelming in the best way possible! We have two big projects lined up, and the anticipation is incredibly exciting. From February 6 to 9, we produced a sold-out concert series for TJ and KZ, which marked 4 straight nights of unforgettable performances. The impressive direction from John Pratts made the event even more special. After much discussions and some apprehension, we finally received a "yes" from TJ and KZ to proceed, especially after last year's success with "Sarli Nating Mundo," which had 40 shows around the world. We are so grateful to Araneta for recognizing this achievement, making them the first Filipino artists to sell out four consecutive nights.
Then, on February 10, we celebrated the Premiere Night of *The Loved One*, our latest film produced in partnership with Viva Films. This project, directed by the brilliant Irene, has been close to our hearts for years as we waited for the perfect cast. Echo and Anne turned out to be just the right fit, and Irene’s genius truly shines through in this film. Catriona added so much value for agreeing to be part of this film. It’s only been 9 days since the release, and it has already grossed over 110 million—what a remarkable box office success, especially during these challenging times for cinemas.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire Cornerstone Concerts team who worked so hard for the show, and to the Cornerstone Studios team for the movie. I am so proud of you all! To those who were in Araneta and who watched our movie, my sincerest gratitude. On to the next!
