This Mornington Peninsula Weekender Is Built on Deliberate Contradictions and Disciplined Nuance
Tucked into a sheltered escarpment overlooking the bay, less than an hour from Melbourne yet worlds apart in spirit, this coastal home by Templeton Architecture and Pasquale Cook is a study in exact balance.
Drawing references from Spain, Portugal and Mexico, and looking to Jørn Utzon's Can Lis as a touchstone, the team channelled a language of authenticity and refined imperfection into every detail, from repurposed bluestone to a limestone hallway framing an electric-blue slice of sea.
