Itās funny how we can derive so much meaning out of.. well anything really.
If it speaks to us it speaks to us.
This sky light saying a lot.
Or more accurately Spirit is..
Moon phases, silver linings, how non linear the healing journey is, cyclical, always moving toward the intended direction of the soul.
Which also makes me think about the timelines of social justice movements and how they compound upon each other and where we are today.. and that when things are very dark the light is indeed working within it, and will be revealed.
When I took this I wasnāt consciously thinking of those things but I was drawn to it for probably that exact symbolism, very classic me behavior + at this point I should probably claim it as a gift.
The more I look at it the more I see and the more.. I probably donāt. lol when you know a certain amount of stuff you know you donāt know much..

I absolutely love getting to work with fellow creatives and feel so blessed when they are also my friends.
Cristina and I were talking on the phone about the direction - we knew we wanted to have a moment with a backdrop but we didnāt want it to be plain and I was like well I think you should paint your designs on the backdrop, and she was like okay yes letās do it!

Originally we were planning on being outside with it but.. typical Seattle POURING RAIN so inside to the nursery we went.
Got to be able to move on the fly.

I felt so bad, she is absolutely spooked by flash!
which was a total āwhy did i forget that possibilityā moment for myself (should have brought a continuous light) I wound up putting my model lights on full blast and raised the ISO + we got her a nap in so I could flash freely lol and snuck a couple in while she was awake š Mooooniiieeee so sorry my love ā„ļø
