Sandalyeler, koltuklar, yatak ya da küvet; her biri insan bedenine göre tasarlanmış, ergonomik olarak optimize edilmiş yapılardır. Bu yüzeyler dağınıklığı bastıran, bedeni organize eden, konforu sürdüren düzenli sistemler olarak, gündelik yaşamın Negentropik (düzenli) alanları olarak kabul edilebilir. Ancak bu düzen, sergide sıklıkla kullanılan amorf ve kütlesel kayalar vasıtasıyla kesintiye uğrar. Kayalar, jeolojik ölçekte yüksek Entropinin (düzensizliğin) taşıyıcılarıdır. Biçimsizlikleri, öngörülemez yüzeyleri ve kütlesel yoğunluklarıyla, bulundukları yapıyı bozma, dağıtma ve işlevsizleştirme potansiyeli taşırlar. Bu nedenle, düzenin dağılması, formun çözülmesi gibi unsurlarla bu karşılaşmada beklenen şey bir çöküştür. The objects encountered throughout the exhibition belong to moments and spaces where one sits, lies down, rests, and where the body feels safe. Chairs, sofas, beds, or bathtubs—each is a structure designed for the human body and ergonomically optimized. These surfaces, functioning as orderly systems that suppress disorder, organize the body, and sustain comfort, can be regarded as the negentropic (orderly) spaces of daily life. However, this order is frequently disrupted by the amorphous and massive rocks frequently used in the exhibition. Rocks are carriers of high entropy (disorder) on a geological scale. With their formlessness, unpredictable surfaces, and massive density, they possess the potential to disrupt, disperse, and render the structure they inhabit dysfunctional. Serginin temel yaklaşımı; bu ani kaybolma ve belirmeye benzeyen, geçmiş ve bugün arasındaki değişimler, dönüşümler ve bunların bireysel hafızalarımızda oluşturduğu duygusal etkilerdir. Sergide sadece yaşanmış olanın kendisi değil, geride bıraktığı hisler, silikleşmiş izler ve belleğin tam olarak anlamlandıramadığı, her seferinde yeniden kurularak hatırlanmaya gerek duyulan anlatılar temsil edilir. Hatırlama eylemi burada bir tanıklık değil, bir sahneleme biçimi olarak düşünülür. The main approach of the exhibition is the transformations, changes, and the emotional effects they create in our individual memories, resembling this sudden disappearance and appearance between past and present. In the exhibition, not only what has been experienced is represented, but also the feelings it leaves behind, the faded traces, and the narratives that memory cannot fully make sense of and that need to be reconstructed and remembered anew each time. The act of remembering is considered here not as a testimony, but as a form of staging. Therefore, the viewer is directed to return to their own subjective experience and memory through the forms presented by the artist. Chairs, sofas, beds, or bathtubs—each is a structure designed for the human body and ergonomically optimized. These surfaces, functioning as orderly systems that suppress disorder, organize the body, and sustain comfort, can be regarded as the negentropic (orderly) spaces of daily life. However, this order is frequently disrupted by the amorphous and massive rocks frequently used in the exhibition. Rocks are carriers of high entropy (disorder) on a geological scale. With their formlessness, unpredictable surfaces, and massive density, they possess the potential to disrupt, disperse, and render the structure they inhabit dysfunctional.
