Paying attention to all the times I said 'thank you' made me dwell on the moments, the actions, and the words more than before. I spent a month living in a very special place. A remote, disconnected, peaceful location. It allowed me to focus on how external stimuli affect my sensations. I tracked my peacefulness triggers for a week, associating them with what I perceived, where, and why. The most spectacular thing of my trip to Costa Rica is the number of animal species I can see every day, even without going to the national parks. Costa Rica's surface occupies just the 0.03% of the emerged lands, but 6% of terrestrial biodiversity lives here.
