Its National Tequila Day, and this treasured agave-based liquor is more than just your favorite blanco tequila.
Inbeded throughout Mexican culture, this lively spirit has many versions that are perfect for your next summer cocktail. For example, Mezcal is also made from different types of agave varietals, like espadin, tobalá or tobaziche, and differs in the region that it's grown and how its distilled. The final product results in an earthy, slightly smokey spirit that is a perfect alternative to the classic margarita.

Today we are highlighting on of our favorite red wines, Altos las Hormigas Malbec!
The Altos las Hormigas Terroir Project stems from the idea that the main creative force behind the wine is its place of origin Moreso than the winemaker. Mendoza history has gifted Los Altos with four centuries of local viticultural heritage, where they believe that Malbec is the best vehicle for this Terroir. This project is aimed at showing how diverse its expression can be as we move across this vast and wonderful region.
We love offering this wine with so many of our tastings and love the bold profile of black currant and lush raspberry. Book your next wine tasting with this exceptional selection today!

The Mojito; mint, lime, rum, soda. The classic beverage, thought to be created by an associate of English pirate, Sir Francis Drake, has become a global favorite for its soft, crisp & refreshing characteristics.
We suggest making one as soon as possible, because today is NATIONAL MOJITO DAY!!
Here's one of our favorite recipes below:
INGREDIENTS
10 fresh mint leaves
½ medium lime, cut into 3 wedges, divided
2 tablespoons white sugar, or to taste
1 cup ice cubes, or as needed
1 ½ fluid ounces white rum
½ cup club soda, or as needed
INSTRUCTIONS
Place mint leaves and 1 lime wedge into a sturdy glass. Use a muddler and crush to release mint oils and lime juice.
Add remaining lime wedges and 2 tablespoons sugar, and muddle again to release the lime juice. Do not strain the mixture.
Fill the glass almost to the top with ice. Pour in rum and fill the glass with club soda.
Stir, taste, and add more sugar if desired!

Little more needs to be said about one of the world's most loved food; chocolate! First believed to be introduced to Europe in 1550, chocolate has been linked as far back as Mayo-Chinchipe culture some 5,300 years ago.
Archaeologists have discovered the earliest traces of cacao in pottery from ancient tribes of Ecuador. What was once considered a gift from the gods, today chocolate is a beloved and popular ingredient in food dishes all over the world, and is even known to increase heart health 💛
