Transmedia — Partie 2

I can’t manage to finish my projects!
I always have this problem where I’m too ambitious: I tell myself I’m going to do a ton of things and post all the time, but in the end… nothing.
Since my last post, I started 4 or 5 motion projects. I stay motivated until I reach about halfway through the project, and then bam: no more motivation. And the cycle starts again.
I tell myself it’s not a big deal because I’m working on a lot of things at the same time, professionally and personally, but there’s always this thought: why can’t I finish a personal project? And honestly, I think it’s because I want to create the perfect thing. The perfect motion for Instagram, the one that makes everyone go “WOW.” So I end up making storyboards that are way too ambitious for my level, I add tons of cool ideas without realizing how much work it actually takes, and in the end it stays messy in my head… or becomes a “mock up animation V3” sitting on my hard drive (neatly organized, obviously).
Recently, I had a realization: am I even having fun doing all this? It’s been way too long since I made a project where I just freestyled, where I surprised myself with an effect I threw into the project without overthinking. And that’s what led me to this project: I found the music cool and I just wanted to animate it, that’s all. I made 4 sketches in 4 minutes, and the rest I did purely by feeling. And honestly, I missed working on a project like that.
So yeah, this whole long text is basically to say: sometimes, just do what you want and don’t overthink it too far ahead!
(PS: I promise I’ll post more!)

This video was an exploration of how motion can be used to express a brand’s identity while adding value to the interface. I focused on clarity, rhythm, and smooth transitions to reflect @paypal ’s core values, trust, simplicity, and reliability.
The goal was to create motion that feels intuitive and fluid, enhancing the interface experience rather than distracting from it. Every movement was designed to feel purposeful and to support usability, hierarchy, and overall coherence within the interface.
A short experiment, but a valuable one in understanding how motion design can strengthen brand perception and bring meaningful value into digital interfaces.

Here's a little stop motion I made in After Effects — just for fun, no brief, no pressure.
Tried to capture that handmade, frame-by-frame feel (minus the paper cuts ✂️).
Always nice to play around and experiment with texture, rhythm, and imperfection, even in the digital world.
What do you think? 👀

An ongoing personal project where I represent each color through animation, infusing it with the emotions and meanings it holds for me.
This animation represents the color blue, symbolizing calm, tranquility, patience, and depth.

🔺 Abstract Shapes 🔷
A personal project I created to represent the movement of abstract shapes, aiming to convey a sense of chaos and motion blended together.

A small personal project I created to practice my vector animation skills a simple day-night cycle featuring my mascot.

☀Quatre Saisons ☃
Personal project created following the Motion Design Manifesto workshop by Jorge R. Canedo E.
I chose to create a loop representing the four seasons, using simple shapes, colors, and sound design to convey my ideas.

I did a little bit of personal work recently since I'm on school break. It was pretty fun making this but I really need to work on my layer organising skills on after effects 😂😂.

I finally finished this project!! I started learning blender as 3d has interested me for a while but I've never gotten around to it, I followed @andrewpprice guide on learning blender, it's a bit complicated but I hope to have the fundamentals down after a few projects 😅.
