Having a snack before picking up my kid from school really helps me stay calm. This way, I can help her through her emotions 🙏 without losing my cool bc I'm equally hangry.
Listen, I'm a mom and a business owner with lots of demands from my family, as I'm sure most of you have!
As much as I make time for myself, I don't have time.
So I stuff everything into a blender, and just drink it. I also make this for my toddler with Greek yogurt instead of protein powder, and a banana.
Ingredients: Chia
Flax
Protein powder
Water
Coconut kefir (probiotics )
Tahini paste
Blueberries
Sometimes I add cocoa powder and it tastes much better, but I ran out.
This keeps me full for hours without crashing or getting snacky/ or hangry until my next full meal.

Amma, wife, daughter, sister, photographer, business owner. Most of us play most of these roles most of the time and I feel like there is never enough time in the day for yourself.
My family & friends usually laugh at how homeless (more like Yeezy chic lol) I look 90% of the time they see me. 🫣
My house is most always a mess.
My home is halfway organized.
But honestly, I don't care lol
We have a family history of annoying health issues that are 100% preventable through food & exercise so I spend my free time preparing nutritious meals for family and friends and sharing unsolicited nutrition tips to everyone on what to eat and not lol. I could have bought a few Hermes purses by now for the amount I spend on groceries 😭
I wear my gym clothes all day, every day.
So whenever I have 20, 30, 40 Mins of spare time.
I just #doit
I have a bunch of videos I follow, always ready on deck.
Gym shoes with socks next to equipment.
I try not to think about it, because how I feel after keeps me coming back for more.
This video of me is after spending a whole day caring for a sick toddler who sneezed and coughed into every hole in my face and was feeling so emotional 😔
My husband was bathing her and I had 30 mins before she finished and came down to jump on my back.
And there is evidence that exercise boots your immune system for 15 hours after a session.
I'll take a natural virus killer any day!
