We were pleased to assist RMIT by performing vibration testing on the ALEPH-1 payload – a project led by Lunaria One that will launch later this year, developing and testing a controlled environment to support plant life on the Moon. Another step by us into the space industry, we tested the payload’s resilience to its future journey to the Moon.

We've expanded our IP testing capabilities with the commissioning of a new IP5X/IP6X dust chamber. The chamber has a capacity of 28,000 litres (28m³) with internal dimensions of 3.5m (L) × 2.3m (W) × 3.5m (H). It subjects electrical enclosures, equipment, and switchboards to extreme dust or sand conditions, thoroughly challenging their sealing performance — ideal for qualification testing in accordance with AS/IEC 60529.
This dust chamber is also capable of performing the Turbulent Dust Test in accordance with Defence standard DEF STAN 00-35, Part 3, Test CL25, Section 2.3.
