Last weekend marked Femme Music Global's first show of the year, and what a show it was!
In collaboration with THT, Bangalore witnessed the debut of Jyotsna's Carnatic Jazz Trio.🎻
Global violinist and legend in her own right, Jyotsna Srikanth, accompanied by Amogh Anand (
@amoghaanand98 ) and Vishak Ramaprasad (
@vishak_rp ), held the room spellbound from start to finish. The trio also unveiled a new version of 'Bangalore Dreams' (released under our sub-label
@talarootrecords 🤭). By the end of the night, Jyotsna added her signature to The Humming Tree's famous Wall of Artists.
Opening the evening was Chennai-based singer-songwriter Anjali Manoharan (
@itss_anj_ali ), best known for her experimental compositions and luminous voice. She also features on
@nyimarecords ' first album compilation Nyima Vol, 1; definitely worth a listen if you haven't heard it yet!
