~ CHATEAU LA FREYNELLE ~
This 75 hectare estate in the village of Daignac in Entre-Deux-Mers was established in 1789. For over seven generations, the estate was passed down from father to son until 1992 when Veronique Barthe, the first daughter born into the family since the revolution, inherited the domain.
This Bordeaux Blanc is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, and 10% Muscadelle. With a little skin contact and partial malolactic, the finished wine has plenty of weight but remains balanced with ripping acidity, in line with its contemporaries from the region.
Last we checked, Ohio is going to see some summer temps this weekend⌠đĄď¸

In 1971, a dream was made into reality.
Adelsheim, Chehalem Mountainsâ first winery, was born out of a leap of faith. David and Ginny Adelsheim purchased 19 acres of land, determined to plant vinifera in the then unproven grape growing region of the Willamette Valley. Fifty years later, the winery is still on of the prominent stewardâs of the land, soil, and climate of the Willamette. Vintage after vintage, theyâve added wisdom to the repertoire, expanded their vineyard plantings, and created a portfolio of wines focused on place.

THE HILT ESTATE
These are vibrant, coastal estate wines that are defined by the maritime influence of the Pacific.
The Santa Rita Hills is a complex AVA. Complex enough to produce world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Hiltâs three vineyards: Bentrock, Radian, and Puerta Del Mar define the property as they sit atop distinct ridges that include a range of mesoclimates, sunshine hours, altitudes, and soil types. These factors bring out the personality of each wine.

ALEXANDER VALLEY VINEYARDS
FOUR GENERATIONS.
DECADES OF FAMILY FARMING.
ONE SPECIAL PLACE.
In 1962, Alexander Valley was mostly orchards and pasture when Harry and Maggie Wetzel purchased a portion of the Cyrus Alexander homestead. The following year, they began planting premium vinifera, and by 1975, Hank Wetzel built their winery and produced AVVâs first estate wines - bringing recognition to the Alexander Valley region.
Today, winemaker Kevin Hall creates balanced wines showcasing each varietalâs characteristics and the special valley that AVV calls home.

Brand Spotlight this week is Scarpetta!
Italy is as diverse in its wines as it is in its cuisine, which is why MS Bobby Stuckey and Chef Lachlan Patterson developed a passion for combining regional wines with provincial recipes - IF IT GROWS TOGETHER, IT GOES TOGETHER.
Referring to a small piece of bread used to soak up the last bit of Sunday sauce, Scarpetta wines are meant to be enjoyed with good food, but more importantly shared over great conversation and little moments of celebration.
