Blessed with two mothers, one who gave us birth and led our lives in directions unimagined and the other who gave light to the path we treaded. Two amazing women who stood tall through adversity as examples and gave us to confidence to be who we are. The story continues… #mothersday #love

Mumbai’s Midnight Cowboy Moment Today, through the evocative curation of Khalid Mohamed, The Daily Eye brings you a striking frame that feels like a page out of Midnight Cowboy—but rooted deeply in the soul of Mumbai. On Marine Drive, where stories unfold between sea breeze and solitude, this image captured by @mumbaipaused reflects a lone figure suspended between anonymity and presence—much like the city itself. A moment. A mood. A metaphor. #PictureOfTheDay #TheDailyEye #MumbaiDiaries #MarineDrive #MumbaiLife @headlines_thedailyeye @meregharaaketohdekho

Some moments feel quietly monumental, and meeting Vinta Nanda ji at International Film Festival Delhi @iffdelhi was one of them. A personality so powerful, introductions feel redundant and words inadequate. If I may still say, we all know she is an industry stalwart and a trailblazer in Indian television whose work has shaped narratives for decades, yet what struck me most was her humility. She listens with intent, speaks with depth, and carries a warmth that instantly puts you at ease. When you meet Vinta Ji, time falls short as there is so much to take from her. Aside from The Daily Eye and WIFF, my conversation also turned deeply nostalgic as we revisited Tara and Millee—stories that have stayed with audiences long after they first aired. Both characters embodied a rare and powerful portrayal of women’s strength. Tara, with her independence and emotional resilience, reflected the evolving identity of modern women navigating life on their own terms. Millee, on the other hand, represented quiet courage—the kind that persists through adversity, holding onto dignity and hope despite life’s challenges. These were not just characters on screen; they were lived experiences for many viewers—mirrors of aspiration, struggle, and inner strength. It was also wonderful to touchbase on Soul Stories series that Vinta ji has initiated on instagram. A must listen! Honored to have met her—truly a memorable and inspiring moment. Grateful for her time and for the valuable insights into independent filmmaking. Thank you so very much ma'am! @vintananda #films #bollywood #storytelling #explore #filmmaking 🙏🙏🙏
